# Persistent storage

Three kinds, named exactly this way: a Volume Deplo creates and looks after, a File you write in the browser and place inside the container, and a Bind to a folder that already exists on the server.

## Honest about deletion

Deleting the app erases its volumes and files and leaves a bound folder alone, because that folder belongs to the server. The dashboard says which is which before you delete.
