These terms govern your use of deplo.build, its documentation at deplo.build/docs, the install scripts served from it, and the public services a Deplo installation contacts (templates.deplo.build and usage.deplo.build). The site is run by Kevin Paratore, an individual domiciled in Italy, under the name DeploCloud ("DeploCloud", "we", "us"). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.
Deplo is open source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (github.com/DeploCloud/deplo). That license, not these terms, governs how you may use, modify and distribute the code, and nothing here limits the rights it gives you. As the license says, the software comes without any warranty. You run it on servers you choose and control, so you are responsible for those servers, for what you deploy on them, for backups, security and updates, and for the legal compliance of the services you operate with it, including the personal data they process.
Contributions to the project (code, issues, discussions) are governed by the Contributor License Agreement in the repository (CLA.md), not by these terms.
The information on this site is provided in good faith and for general information. Comparisons with other products reflect our own research on the date they were written and can become outdated; if you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it. Product names, logos and trademarks of third parties belong to their owners and are used only to identify those products. Unless stated otherwise, the texts, illustrations, videos and design of this site belong to DeploCloud. You may quote and link to them; please do not republish them as a whole or use the Deplo name and logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.
The get-started page lists hosting offers from third-party providers, with prices and plans supplied by them. The provider, not DeploCloud, is responsible for its offer, its service and its billing, and any contract you sign is between you and the provider. We are not a party to it. Links to these offers carry a referral tag, and we may receive a commission when you buy. This never changes the price you pay. Always check the final price and conditions on the provider's site before buying.
Do not use the site or our public services to: - attack, probe or overload them, or get around their limits and security measures; - send fake or automated usage reports, or use the template catalog as a platform for spam or malware; - break the law or infringe the rights of others. Reading the site with automated tools is fine: the Markdown versions of each page and llms.txt exist for exactly that. Please respect robots.txt and keep your request rate reasonable.
The site and our public services are free and provided as they are, with no service level. We may change, suspend or retire any part of them, including the template catalog, at any time. A Deplo installation keeps working if they are unavailable.
To the extent the law allows, DeploCloud is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, profits or business arising from the use of this site or its public services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent or gross negligence (Art. 1229 of the Italian Civil Code), or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
We may update these terms, for example when the site gains new features. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply from the moment they are published and never retroactively.
These terms are governed by Italian law, and any dispute is decided by the Italian court that law makes competent. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, including the right to bring proceedings there.
